Software, Gadgets, Tools, Games that I use.

As an introverted software developer and gamer, I know the following gadgets and tools will let anyone work comfortably and with a peace of mind.

Workstation

  • MacBook 14" M4 Max, 48GB RAM

This laptop is a real powerhouse, and built for running models like deepseek r1 locally. Great for developing apps and running multiple dockers at the same time.

  • Secretlab Chair (Softweave)

Provides all-day comfort with its ergonomic design, making long coding sessions or gaming marathons nice and cozy.

  • Omnidesk Standing Table (Acacia Wood)

Lets me seamlessly switch between sitting and standing. Especially after a meal, standing and walking is preferred for good digestion.

  • Edifier QR65

Delivers immersive sound quality for a budget price. Better than expected.

Development tools

  • Zed Editor

A distraction-free, fast, and efficient code editor that keeps my environment clutter-free, allowing me to dive straight into the coding zone.

  • PhpStorm

Feature-rich and deeply integrated, it handles complex PHP projects like a champ.

  • Android Studio

Mainly used for flutter development. Does its job well, but the Android SDKs take up so much storage.

  • Docker

Essential for containerizing applications, making it easier to manage and deploy projects consistently across environments.

  • Kubernetes

Docker orchestration amplified by 1000. Great for scaling production.

  • Windows PC

The only way to play most of the great games at the moment :)

A powerful yet adaptable tool for managing tasks and deadlines. Great for coordinating small project teams.

AI Tools

  • ChatGPT

My go-to conversational AI assistant for brainstorming ideas, content creation, and general problem-solving.

  • Claude

Has the best free version AI available on the market. Great at coding tasks. Expensive to use for apps.

  • Grok

Deep-search is amazing for researching a topic extensively on the web. Huge time saver.

  • Gemini Flash 2.0 Thinking

Ideal for AI apps that want to keep cost low. Best performance to cost ratio in my opinion.
